Bill Weisberg is the CEO of Affiliated Distributors (A-D). He joined A-D 26 years ago and became CEO in 1991. Mr. Weisberg has helped to facilitate A-D's growth through the effective utilization of Affiliate and Supplier Committees and Task Forces. This consensus building process resulted in the establishment of the industry's first formalized Networking groups, the development of innovative marketing and planning programs, the implementation of the first national accounts program for electrical independents and the early adoption of internet technology to facilitate group communications.
Under Mr. Weisberg's leadership A-D has completed successful mergers with five member-owned cooperatives, entered the Canadian electrical market, the general line industrial market, the Plumbing, PVF and HVAC markets and the drywall industry. In 1999 he founded supplyFORCE, a national accounts business that survived the dot-com crash and is active to this day serving multi-regional MRO customers by coordinating the fulfillment of orders and services from A-D members across three A-D industries.
Mr. Weisberg is the proud parent of seven children and is a graduate of Central High School in Philadelphia, PA.
